When was the last time you update your computer? It is last yesterday, last week, last month or last year or probably you didn't update at all. :-) Yes, I understand you, your a little afraid, no your afraid, your thinking that it might be it would result to windows error. Something that will mess up your work, your files and your everything.
As far as the history is concern we need to return to somewhere May 2018, I can recall how a computer update was crashing PCs, breaking webcams and blocking access to internal hdd. This is the start of update horror, people around the world take this like pandemic. Gossiping windows update would lead to disaster, something that would ruin their life. Starting then uninformed people started to doubt windows update and it was a total mess.
Microsoft Windows 10 launched in 2015, Microsoft has tried (many times) to persuade end user that it was the last operating system they ever need. Aside from the Microsoft stopped creating windows new name version. Instead they release new windows update. As far as i remember my first Windows 10 is version 1507. Now im running Windows 10 20H2 in my primary laptop. I kinda stuck in version 1909 not because it is good but I have apps the wont run above 1909 version. Until lately I discovered that the app would run in 20H2 Version. Yes, i do install the latest windows update. Just tried it so, maybe because of my boredom. I need to move to simulate if new updates were good as stated.
I have mention that i"m stuck with the 1909 version, Yes that correct I also experience that Microsoft biggest ever failed, When i accidentally updates my unit last October 2018. I'm one of the thousand user who complained that installing October update had wipe out some of my files. Luckily that time I also started saving my important files in the cloud. So I got backed up :-) Actually Microsoft realized this failure and stop rolling the October Update in just week. Microsoft recovered this incidents in mid-November updates but many users started to doubt and stop updating or delaying the update at all.
Due to this experiences Microsoft used a what you called "Machine Learning". This set of program can detects with pc will encounter problems. As the result, Microsoft successfully rolled the next updated. There is some problem but not as great as the previous failure. Later that year, Microsoft begun getting better is releasing updates. They have found a new way to distinguish which machine can run the latest updates and who is not. And this stragegy seems to be working. Theres still problem in the updates but only a minor and wont cause so much trouble at all.
Then as the answer to my question above. Yes! Please do install the Windows 10 updates. And do not be afraid at all. Microsoft is improving from time to time. So give it chance :-) aside from that you have no choice at all. Unless you use linux or mac but in general point of view. You will not try that possibility especially if your in DepEd Ph.
Thanks for reading, and im sorry if there an error on the grammar side. This is just the start of my blogging career so please bear with me.
